OUALIFICATIONS•

  1. College degree and teaching credentials
  2. 3 years minimum teaching experience
  3. Master's degree and Administrative certification
  4. Experience in working with and counseling Native American students

REPORTS TO: School Principal and/or Assistant Principal TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 10 months

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Interact/discipline students regarding infractions of Attendance Policy.
  2. Interact/discipline students regarding infractions of Tardy Policy.
  3. Interact/discipline students regarding infractions of Behavior Policy.
  4. Represent school administration in discipline proceedings.
  5. Represent school administration in interaction with parents.
  6. Represent student in cases where teacher action is inappropriate.
  7. Alert other agencies as needed for the benefit of the student.
  8. Maintain accurate school records concerning student sessions.
  9. Work out schedule to work during lunch hour and up to 5 p.m.
  10. Communicate with teachers concerning forms of restitution (ASD-ISS-OSS).
  11. Document all proceedings in dealing with students.

EVALUATION: Performance of this position will be evaluated once a year in accordance with provisions of the Board Policy on Evaluation of Certified Personnel.
